2.10 Signage
The following symbols and information signs are located in the work area. They refer to the immediate area in
which they are attached.
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to illegible symbols!
Over time, stickers and signs may become soiled or rendered illegible for other reasons.
Therefore:
– Keep all safety, warning and operating information easily legible at all times.
– Replace any damaged signs or stickers immediately.
2.11 Warning signs
Follow the operating instructions
Do not use the marked object until you have read the operating instructions.
Crushing hazards
Warning of crushing hazards on a piece of work equipment (e.g. a machine) or structural equipment (e.g.
covers, enclosures, protectors, fences).
Pay particular attention when working in the marked workplaces.
Never reach into the crushing danger area as long as parts in this area may still be moving.
2.12 Modifications
WARNING!
Risk of injury caused by unauthorized modifications!
Modifications to the machine in the sense of extensions and reconstructions and, in
particular, modifications that may affect the safety of the machine are prohibited without
consulting the manufacturer and without the written approval of the manufacturer.
