7 ADJUSTMENT
7.3.7 Adjusting the Registration Mark Sensor Sensitivity
If you replace the main board, you need to adjust the sensitivity.
How to adjust the registration mark sensor sensitivity
(1) Enter the adjustment menu (see Section 7.3.4).
(2) Load an A2 or larger size sheet of paper in the plotter. The paper color must be white, and it is
recommended that high-quality paper made for ink-jet printers be used.
(3) Press the UP arrow or Down arrow key until the menu shown below is displayed.
(4) Press the F4 key to display the menu shown below.
(5) Press the F2 key to draw the cross pattern.
(6) Use the ARROW keys to move the pen to an open area to adjust the registration mark sensor gain.
(7) Press the ENTER key to start the registration mark sensor gain adjustment. The plotter immediately
adjusts the registration mark sensor gain automatically. The plotter displays the menu shown below.
Conrmthattheoutputlevelisbetween50%to60%.
(8) Press the ENTER key to store the setting.
(9) Turn off the power to exit from the adjustment menu.
