Option Description
CL2 EXPOSURE VIEW CL2 HISTORY—Shows the values that follow:
CURRENT VALUE—CL
2
exposure count on the home screen
LAST SAVED VALUE—CL
2
exposure count saved when the CL
2
exposure count was set to zero. A maximum of three CL
2
exposure
counts and their related start and end dates show on the display.
Note: LAST SAVED VALUE shows 0.00 ppm*hr and the date and time the
instrument was first set to on until the CL
2
exposure count is set to zero.
SET EXPOSURE LIMIT—Sets the chlorine exposure alarm setpoint.
Enter the membrane chlorine exposure limit supplied by the membrane
manufacturer. When the CL
2
exposure count on the home screen is
more than the CL
2
exposure alarm setpoint, a HIGH EXPOSURE
warning occurs. Refer to Warnings—Yellow light on page 26.
RESET TO ZERO—Sets the CL
2
exposure count on the home screen to
zero. In addition, saves the last CL
2
exposure count to the VIEW

Section 5 Operation
5.1 Show the chlorine exposure
1. Push home to show the home screen.
2. Push the RIGHT arrow key until "FLOW RATE" and "CL2 EXPOSURE" show on the display.
Note: The CL
2
exposure count on the home screen increases after each chlorine measurement. If the last
chlorine measurement was 40 ppb, the CL
2
exposure count increases by 40 ppb x 1/24 hour = 1.67 ppb*hr (or
0.00167 ppm*hr).
The chlorine measurement is multiplied by 1/24 because the analyzer completes 24 measurements each hour.
3. Scroll down to select CL2 EXPOSURE, then push the RIGHT arrow key to show a trend chart.
4. To change the time or measurement range of the trend chart, push the home key when the trend
chart shows on the display.
5. To go back, push the LEFT arrow key or home.
5.2 Data, event and service logs
Note: During the first hours after installation, the chlorine measurement on the display may be 0.00 ppm (or 0 ppb),
but the actual chlorine concentration is higher. The low chlorine measurement is caused by the chlorine demand of
the new sample tubing and system.
