SELECTING A LOCATION FOR THE ETS-LT ASSEMBLY
Select an appropriate location to install the ETS-LT assembly. The location must meet the following
minimum requirements:
• The ETS-LT assembly is not intended for outdoor installation.
• Keep the distance between the ETS-LT assembly and the water heating source to a minimum. This reduces
piping heat loss and provides minimal friction loss.
• The ETS-LT assembly location should be where leakage from the piping field connections will not cause
damage to the surrounding area.
• Consider the location of new or existing piping and electrical.
RECOMMENDED CLEARANCE
To ensure serviceability of the ETS assembly, the following minimum clearances must be met:
• Left and Right Sides: 18 inches
• Front: 24 inches
• Top: 24 inches
• Rear: 0 inches
GENERAL ELECTRICAL GUIDELINES
All assemblies require a 120Vac line voltage dedicated circuit with a 12 Amp circuit breaker.
MOUNTING THE ETS-LT ASSEMBLY
The ETS-LT should be wall mounted using the unistrut frame that the valve, control module and piping
components are mounted on. When mounting the ETS-LT assembly ensure it is level and plumb to the wall.
04 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
• The wall used for mounting the ETS-LT assembly must be vertically plumb and capable of supporting a
minimum of 100 lbs. Failure to comply with this requirement can result in substantial property damage
or personal injury.
• The ETS-LT is too heavy and bulky for a single individual to lift and attempt to mount. It is recommended
that a minimum of 3 people are needed. The ETS-LT assembly should be support by 2 individuals while
the 3rd individual does the mounting. Failure to comply with this requirement can result in substantial
property damage or personal injury.
• DO NOT mount or attempt to mount the ETS-LT assembly to hollow sheet rock/drywell or lath walls
using wall anchors. Only install the ETS-LT assembly to studs, equivalent wood structure or solid wall.
Failure to comply with this requirement can result in substantial property damage or personal injury.
