OVERVIEW
The ETS-LT is a pre-piped and pre-wired assembly that includes the ETV Platinum Plus (Electronic Tempering
Valve). The ETV Platinum Plus is a hot water temperature control capable of operating an electronic motorized
mixing valve to regulate the system water temperature. The electronic mixing valve is controlled using a voltage
output modulation signal. Its modulation PID is designed to respond quickly, which makes it suitable for domestic
hot water applications.
The ETS-LT assembly consists of the ETV valve with actuator, ETV Platinum Plus control module and a probe (direct
immersion) sensor on the Mixed Outlet, piping from the valve. The ETV valve, control module and piping assembly
components are mounted on a Unistrut frame that allows mounting on a wall.
For added protection, the ETS-LT assembly is configured that on a loss of power condition the ETV actuator will
power the valve to a full COLD position.
There is an optional ETV/HTLV Plus mode of operation in which on conditions where the mixed outlet temperature
exceeds the Alarm Limit the ETS will power the ETV valve to a full COLD position, powers CLOSE an option
High Temp Limit valve and enters into a manual reset condition. For additional information on the optional High
