• Remove the battery clamp bolt (7) and the
battery clamp (8).
• Disconnect the (-)ve terminal lead (5) from
the battery first, then disconnect the (+)ve
terminal lead (6).

Battery installation
Ÿ Reinstall in the reverse order of removal. Be
sure to connect the (+)ve terminal first, then
the (-)ve terminal.
Ÿ Check all bolt and other fasteners are secure
properly.

Refer to the safety precautions on (page 44).

Main (2) : , fuse 15A, 10A 10A and 10A
Spare fuse 15A 10A (3) : and
Fuse type: Blade fuse
Location: Below the seat.

Never use a fuse with a different rating from
that specified. It may lead to serious damage
to the electrical system or a fire due to short
circuit.

Pullout the battery (9) from the battery box.
