Measurement Preparations
3.3 Installing the Battery Pack
31
The battery pack backs up instrument data when power is turned
off. When completely charged, data recorded in the instrument is
backed up for about 30 minutes. The battery charges during nor-
mal measurement operation, so it should be fully charged when
power is turned off.
Be aware that if the battery pack is not installed, recorded data is
erased when the instrument is turned off.
3.3 Installing the Battery Pack
Use only the HIOKI Model 9459 BATTERY PACK. We cannot
accept responsibility for accidents or damage related to the
use of any other batteries.
Before installing the
Battery Pack, make sure the instrument is
turned OFF.
• The battery pack is subject to self-discharge. Be sure to charge
the battery before initial use. If the battery capacity remains
very low after correct recharging, the useful battery life is at an
end.
