BIN Measurement (Using Multiple Judgment Standards)
4.3 BIN Measurement (Using Multiple Judgment
Standards)
In BIN measurement, multiple sets (up to 10, BIN0 to BIN9) of judgment standards (consisting of
upper limit and lower limit values) are set. After each measurement, the instrument compares the
measured value to multiple judgment standards and generates judgment results accordingly. This
function provides a convenient way to group measurement targets into ranks.
The BIN number corresponding to the applicable judgment standard is displayed on the screen,
and a signal can be output from the EXT I/O connector.
Measured values that do not fall under any BIN are indicated as OB (“out of bins”). This function
can be used with both auto-range operation and xed-range operation.
