Turn off power and disconnect the test leads,
AC adapter and USB cable from the instru-
ment.
See 2.2 "Turning Power On and Off" (page 50).
• If the battery pack is not used for an
extended period of time, remove it from the
instrument and store at a temperature
between -20 to 30°C, to prevent
deterioration.
Charge the battery at least every 2 months.
If the battery pack is left for a long period of
time in a low state of charge, its
performance will be degraded.
• When the battery status indicator is low,
charge the battery pack.
• The battery pack is subject to self-
discharge. Be sure to charge the battery
pack before initial use. If the battery
capacity remains very low after correct
recharging, the useful battery life is at an
end.
• The life of the battery pack is 500
charging cycles, i.e., about one year.
