Inserting/Replacing Battery
Equipment
• Phillips screwdriver (No. 2)
• LR6 Alkaline battery

8 or HR6 Nickel-metal hydride battery

Disconnect the test leads from the instrument.

Turn the rotary switch on the instrument to o.

Loosen the screw and remove the battery cover.

When replacing the batteries, remove all of the old batteries.
Replace all eight batteries.

Insert the new batteries while being careful about the correct polarity.
6
Reattach the battery cover and tighten the screw.
