3.3 Measuring Insulation Resistance
DANGER
To avoid an electric shock and a short-circuit, make sure to
observe the following precautions.
1. Check Table 1 before connecting test leads to the instrument.
2. Check to see if the object under measurement is not live or electrically
charged using a high-voltage detector or other similar instrument,
before connecting test leads to it.

Blinking Press the MEASURE key to
stop voltage generation.

Blinking Immediately disconnect the
test leads from the object
under measurement and turn
o power to the object or
discharge the electric charge
using a discharge rod.
