Connecting Test Leads

Connect alligator clips or test pins (IR5051 only) to the ends of test leads.
Insert it fully.
or

Connect the red test lead to the + terminal and the black test lead to the
− terminal.
For insulation resistance measurement, connect the blue test lead to the
GUARD terminal*

if necessary.
Insert it fully.

*1. A GUARD terminal is used to prevent the surface electrical resistance of an
insulating material a󰀨ecting measurement, enabling correct measurement of the
entire volume resistivity of the material.
