WARNING
Explosion of the xenon lamp could cause serious injury.
High-pressure gas of about 1 MPa (at room temperature) is sealed in the
xenon lamp. Be careful not to apply pressure to the lamp bulb (glass part)
when replacing the lamp. Also be sure to wear proper protective gear such
as safety goggles, thick long sleeves, and gloves when handling the lamp.
WARNING
An electric shock caused by contact with the power supply (30 kV) of the
xenon lamp could result in fatal or serious injury.
Also, be sure to turn off the power switch and wait at least one hour for the
lamp to cool down before removing the light source cover for replacing the
lamp, etc.
(2) To insure safety, put on protective gear such as thick long sleeves, gloves, etc. before handling the
lamp.
(3) Remove the lamp holder according to Figs. 1-8 and 1-9.

counterclockwise to loosen it.
