6.5.5 Disordered characters
NOTICE
Do not repeat the nozzle backwash procedure more than two times. If it is
repeated to an excess, the ink becomes thin, thereby causing disordered
prints. If the ink is thin and disordered prints are encountered, replace the ink.
Following momentary power supply voltage drop may also become a factor of disordered characters
other than the above. Please refer below for the correspondence.
Factor Correspondence
(1) Momentary interruption of power supply Power-on and confirm whether it is normal printing.
(2) Noise from a power supply for other power Separate the power supply cable of IJP from the power
supply cable for other power.
Power-on and confirm whether it is normal printing.
Are the upper or
lower print dots lost?
Is the upper end of
the print blotted?
Adjust the excitation voltage
and pressure to ensure
proper ink drops
generation.
Are ink drops
properly generated?
See under “Chipped
print”.
Ensure that the operating
temperature is within the
specified limits.
Is the operating

Ensure that the work surface is
free from coating application

Since it is conceivable that the
