Zoom Mode
Normal
Displays the acquired image in its native format. The image in Faxitron Path systems exceeds
the monitors display area. A thumbnail dialog box will be displayed in the top left corner of the
image which allows the user to “pan” the image. Refer to Dynamic Zoom Adjustment in Section
5.4.1.
Adjust Zoom
This option is greyed out and is not available at this time.
Fit to Sample
This option adjusts the acquired image to best fit the specimen sample within the monitors
display area.
Fit All
This option displays the entire acquired image, regardless of its native format. The Full
Resolution option does not work in this view mode.
Fit Width
This option displays the acquired image across the available width of the entire display area.
Fit Height
This option displays the acquired image across the available height of the entire display area.
Image Averages
This option allows the user to adjust the number of image averages to be taken per an
exposure. The available options are 1x, 2x, 4x or 8x shots. Default setting is 1x Shots. If the
user selects 2, 4 or 8 shots the software will acquire the number of images selected back to
back with a single push of the Start button and average those images into a single image.
Image Perspective
This option allows the user to rotate the displayed image to 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees in
orientation.
