An
adjusting
knob

for
control
of
paper
tension
is
accessible
on
the
lower
left
side
of
the
printer
mechanism.
Proper
adjustment
of
this
control
prevents
tearing
of
the
form
and
assures
smooth
movement
of
the
form
through
the
paper
feed
mechanism.
Tractor
Position
Adjustment
- A
single
adjustment
knob
on
the
right-hand
side
of
the
printing
mechanism
(see
Figure
6-1,
C)
may
be
used
to
position
all
four
tractors
at
one
time
while
the
machine
is
either
running
or
stopped.
The
two
right-hand
tractors
are
individually
adjustable
and
have
vernier
controls
for
adjusting
the
side
tension
of
the
paper.
A
side-
tension
adjustment
can
also
be
performed
while
the
printer
is
either
running
or
stopped.

changed).

timing
