peripheral
operations,
however,
are
allowed

The
sequence
register
contains
the
ad-
dress
of
the
op
code
of
the
instruction
that
is
responsible
for
the
program.

Pressing

either
the
INITIALIZE
button
or
the
SYSTEM
CLEAR
button
resets
the
program.

PROGRAM
indicator.
OPERATING
PROCEDURES
The
standard
operating
procedures
outlined
below
can
be
perform.ed
only
when
the
STOP
button
is
illum.inated.
If
depressing
the
STOP
button
does
not
cause
the
STOP
indicator
to
illum.inate,
the
central
processor
m.ust
be
cleared
or
initialized
before
proceeding.
This
is
accom.plished
by
depressing
either
the
SYSTEM
CLEAR
button
or
the
INITIALIZE
button.
1.
To
display
a
control
m.em.ory
register
and
the
character
in
m.ain
m.em.ory
it
references:
a.
Press
the
appropriate
CONTROL
buttons
(to
specify
the
desired
control
m.em.ory
register,
if
different
from.
the
register
presently
indicated).
The
address
of
the
desired
control
m.ernory
register
now
appears
in
the
illum.inated
CONTROL
indicators.
b.
Press
the
CONTROL
DISPLAY
button.
The
m.ain
m.em.ory
address
specified
by
the
setting
of
the
control
m.em.ory
register
now
ap-
pears
in
the
ADDRESS
indicators,
and
the
character
referenced
by
the
setting
of
the
address
indicators
is
displayed
in
the
CONTENTS
indicators.
