7.4.1.1 System Alarm Settings
1. From the System Alarms menu press the
1 button to enable/disable alarms and to
define the systems alarms as N.O.
(normally open) or N.C. (normally
closed)
a. Press the aux button to change the
displayed settings. Use the joystick
up, down, left, or right to move
between the fields. When the field
you want to change is highlighted, press the aux button to toggle between the
available options for status and type. Use the number buttons to enter the alarm
priority. Note: If a priority of 0000 is entered and the user moves the joystick (or
presses lock), an error message is displayed for five seconds and then the
number reverts to its initial value before the number was changed. The cursor
remains on the amended number.

Note: The down arrow to the right of the last alarm shown means there are
more lines below those displayed. If an operator moves down, an up arrow will
be displayed to the right of the first alarm to show there are more lines above
those displayed.
b. When finished programming alarms, press the lock button to exit the system
alarm settings menu and return to the Systems Alarm menu.

To program the action the system is
to take when an alarm is activated,
access the Alarm Actions Menu.
1. From the System Alarms menu,
press the 2 button.
a. The camera for the first alarm
is flashing.
Use the joystick to move to
the desired field to change.

more lines below those displayed. If an operator moves down, an up arrow will
be displayed to the right of the first alarm to show there are more lines above
those displayed.
