8.2.1.2 Selected Baud Rate Connection
1. To select a specific baud rate for connection, click on the down arrow in the baud
rate field. Point to the desired baud rate and left mouse click. The selected baud
rate is displayed in the baud rate field. This is not the setting which will be used by
the main application. See Tools/Options. This is the baud rate used to 'test' the
ability to connect to a config session.
2. Click on the Connect Config button. If the PC is able to connect to the MaxCom
Gold, the message “Connected Successfully” is displayed in the window as shown
below.
If the PC is unable to connect to the MaxCom Gold, error messages are displayed.
After connecting successfully, the connection utility window can be closed or
minimized.
To close the connection utility window, click on the X in the upper right corner. To
minimize the window, click on the _ in the upper right corner.
Note: This screen should not be used to connect each time the user wants to
send data. It is for test only. Leaving a connection open will cause the screens to
fail.
