2. Basic functions
2.1 Arming / disarming

The IDENT-KEY system enables allocation to time zones as well as the recording of locking times
and key numbers. In this case, the operating unit is not a direct switching device but rather more a
reader. The preliminary decision as to whether a device is armed/disarmed is made by the
evaluation unit which transmits this decision to the control panel.
Application-related data (e.g. key numbers, authorization (date/time) etc.) are programmed directly
via the intrusion control panel.
Code carrier and time zones are managed at the control panel.
When using an IDENT-KEY as an arming/disarming device, an appropriate blocking device must
be used (e.g. electromechanical blocking element) that prevents an armed zone from being
unintentionally entered. Actuation is from the the control panel via the evaluation unit.
Blocking element 1/1 MC, Blocking element 3 and BE SLIM-LOCK.
The bolt end positions of all types are. A blocked blocking element is indicated as a fault at the
control panel and also has a positive drive state.
A bolt switching contact, a opening contact and a passive glass breakage sensor can be
connected to monitor the door.
In a disarmed state, it is possible to release a door locked by a door strike via the operating
unit reader. A door lock is released via the PIN and/or a data carrier.
Release is also possible via a button. This function then corresponds with that of a normal door
strike.
Automatic door lock release after disarming can be defined via the programming.
Applicable door strikes: fail secure door strike, fail safe door strike, impulse controlled door
strike.
Monitoring and armature contact of a door strike can be evaluated.
