This could be the result of a
failure on either of these modules
or the cable that connects them.
Use a HART, DE, or FF
communicator to read the detailed
status information from the
transmitter. Refer to the
appropriate communicator
manual to get more information
about the possible causes of the
failure.
Check the ribbon cable that
connects the Meterbody to the
Electronics Module. Make sure
that the cable is securely plugged
into the Electronics Module.
Make sure that all pins are
plugged into the connector (i.e.,
make sure that the connector is
not offset in a way that leaves
some pins unconnected).
Cycle power to the transmitter.
If the problem continues to occur
replace the Electronics Module. If
this does not fix the problem,
replace the Meterbody.
