User Accounts
With a
User
account, you will not be able to confi
ure the connection for the
account. You will be able to access the password function. You can also:
• Use the
Network
properties sheet
• Use the
Apps
properties sheet with the exception of
SNMP
and
DHCP
• Use the
Devices
properties sheet with the exception of
Add/Change Modem
• Use the
Input
properties sheet
• Use the
Display
properties sheet
Administrator Accounts
The
Administrator
account has the
reatest amount of privile
es. With this
account you can:
• Use
Enable Password Change
(chan
e the password for an account)
• Confi
ure or reconfi
ure the connection for an account
• Use all the other functions of the terminal
Using Terminal Accounts
Terminal accounts are created and mana
ed by usin
the
Add User...
, and
Modify
User...
command buttons. Terminal accounts are deleted usin
the
Delete User...
command button. These buttons are found on the
Security
properties sheet.

There is a built-in account called
Administrator
. It can
not be deleted or revised. The account’s password can
