9. Install the drive cage assembly.
10. Connect the drive backplane cables.
a. Connect one end of the Mini-SAS cable to the backplane and the other end to the system board.
Port 1 of the hot-plug drive backplane supports drives 1 to 4. Port 2 of the hot-plug drive backplane
supports drives 5-8.
b. Connect the power cable to the backplane.
• Mini-SAS cable connected from backplane connector 1 to the system board (4 drives supported)
