To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all PCIe slots have either an
expansion slot cover or an expansion card installed.
Use these instructions to remove and replace expansion boards including type -p storage controllers, PCIe accelerators, and network
adapters into the server. For more information on installing controllers, SAS expanders, or GPU cards, see the related section.
