1. Power down the server.
2. Remove the server from the rack .
3. Place the server on a flat, level surface.
4. Remove the complete access panel .
5. If you are removing an expansion board installed in the PCI riser cage, remove the riser cage.
6. Disconnect any cables that are connected to the expansion board.
7. Remove the expansion board.

To replace the component, reverse the procedure.
