Important:
To avoid electrostatic damage, place array components on a grounded anti-static mat. Use an ESD wrist strap
during removal and replacement.
3. Remove the PCIe cage from the existing controller.
a) Loosen the bottom thumbscrew on the PCIe cage.
b) Remove the transparent controller shroud from the controller.

c) Grasp both sides of the PCIe cage and lift the cage out of the controller, making sure that the cage clears the guide
pins and that both riser cards and the bridge board connector are properly unseated.

4. Loosen the PCIe card holder.
a) The PCIe card holder protrudes through the top of the PCIe cage in 3 sections. Push down on the center section and
slide the PCIe card holder in the direction of the arrow to loosen it from the cage.
