2. Identify the failed drive.
A failed drive has a red drive fault LED for that drive (B or A). Do not replace a drive with a dark drive fault LED.

3. Release and remove the appropriate drive sled (B or A) from the drive carrier.
a) To release the handle, slide the green tab in the direction of the arrow. The sled handle springs open.
b) Pull the sled handle to remove the drive from the drive carrier. (Use firm, steady pressure.)
Important: Do not press the lever for the drive carrier itself. Only open the individual sled (B or A) containing
the drive to be replaced.
