a. Remove the top cover.
b. Remove the air bale.
4. Do one of the following:.
• If installing the NVMe M.2 SSDs on the NVMe enablement board, install the NVMe enablement option
• If installing NVME M.2 SSDs on the system board, proceed with step 5.
5. Install the NVMe M.2 SSD module:
a. Insert the SSD module into the SSD slot at a 45° angle.
b. Carefully press the SSD down to the horizontal position.
c. Install the M.2 SSD mounting screw.
d.
If you are installing a second SSD, repeat steps a–c.
6.
For 2U server blade, do the following:
a.
Install the air bale.
b.
Install the top cover.
7. Install the server blade in the chassis.
8. Power up the server blade.

Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have the following items available:
• T-10 Torx screwdriver
• Philips No.1 screwdriver
