12. Install the access panel.

Install the front bezel.

Do one of the following:
• If the server is in tower mode: Position the tower server for operation.
• If the server is in rack mode: Install the server on the tray.
15.
Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
16.
Connect the power cords:
a.
Connect each power cord to the server.
b.
Connect each power cord to the power source.
17.
Power up the server.
The installation is complete.

Storage controller options
The server supports the following storage controllers:
• For SATA drives only – Embedded HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10 Controller
• For SAS and SATA drives – Type-p standup plug-in Smart Array controller
The Smart Array controller can be installed in PCI expansion slots. For more information on the PCI slot specifications, see
PCI expansion slot definitions.
