Why does hpmont HD3L Controller show 'Motor overload'?
J
Jennifer NguyenAug 27, 2025
The hpmont Controller may indicate a motor overload because of an improper V/f curve setting, low mains supply voltage, an incorrectly set motor overload protection factor, or a locked-rotor/overloaded motor. Adjust the V/f curve, check the power input, properly set the overload protection factor of the motor, and inspect the load and mechanical transmission devices.

What causes hpmont Controller overload and how to fix it?

Jonathan MossAug 26, 2025
Controller overload in your hpmont device can occur if the Acc time is too short, the V/f curve or torque boost settings are incorrect, the mains supply voltage is too low, or the motor load is too high. Try adjusting the Acc time and V/f curve or torque boost settings. Also, check the mains supply voltage and consider using a controller with a proper power rating.

What to do if hpmont HD3L Controller shows 'Acc overcurrent'?

If the hpmont Controller displays an 'Acc overcurrent' error, it could be due to an improper connection between the controller and motor, incorrect motor parameters, an undersized controller, or a too-short Acc/Dec time. Ensure the controller and motor are properly connected, verify the motor parameters, select a controller with a higher rating if necessary, and adjust the Acc/Dec time.
