· Do not start the engine when removing the tailpipe
from the muffler.
3. Remove:
·Remove the bolts .①
·Remove the tailpipe ② by pulling it out of the muffler.
4. Install：
·Insert the tailpipe into the muffler and align the bol

holes.
·Insert the bolt 1 and tighten it.
·Start the engine and rev it up approximately twent
y
times while momentarily creating exhaust system bac
k
pressure by blocking the end of the muffler with a sho
p
towel.
·Stop the engine and allow the exhaust pipe to cool.
CHASSIS
ADJUSTING THE BRAKE PEDAL
1. Check:
·brake pedal free play a Out of specification →Adjust.
Note:
The end of the brake rod should lightly contact the ①
brake master cylinder ②
Brake pedal free play
0 mm (0.0 in)
2. Adjust：
·brake pedal free play
a. Loosen the locknut①
b. Turn brake rod in or out until the correct free play is ②
obtained.
Turning in Free play is increased.
Turning out Free play is decreased.
c. Tighten the locknut to specification.

17 Nm (1.7 m · kg, 12 ft · lb)
