a DHCP client.
4. Run:
ip address dhcp client hostname hostname
A host name is configured for the DHCP client.
5. Run:
ip address dhcp client option61 client-name
An identifier is configured for the DHCP client.

l Configure BOOTP client attributes.

The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
dhcp enable
The DHCP service is enabled.
3. Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The interface view is displayed.

6.6.3 Enabling the DHCP/BOOTP Client
After the DHCP/BOOTP client function is enabled on an interface, the interface can obtain an
IP address and other configurations from the DHCP server.
Procedure
l Enable the DHCP client.
