Huawei AR150 series - Example for Configuring IP Address Unnumbered on an Interface

l Primary IP address and subnet mask of the interface
l Secondary IP address and subnet mask of the interface
Procedure
Step 1 Configure primary and secondary IP addresses for Ethernet0/0/0 on Router.

[Huawei] sysname Router
[Router] interface ethernet 0/0/0
[Router-Ethernet0/0/0] ip address 172.16.1.1 24
[Router-Ethernet0/0/0] ip address 172.16.2.1 24 sub
Step 2 Verify the configuration.
# Ping a host on network segment 172.16.1.0 from the Router. The ping operation succeeds.
<Router> ping 172.16.1.2
PING 172.16.1.2: 56 data bytes, press CTRL_C to break
