4.3.5 Installing the Battery in the Fire Control Panel
Prerequisites
● If a battery is damaged, contact your local oce.
● In an outdoor scenario, you are advised to power on the re control panel
within 24 hours after unpacking. Otherwise, place it in a dry indoor
environment without corrosive gas.
● Determine the position of the
re control panel.

CA UTION
Do not damage components in the re control panel during the installation.
Procedure
Step 1 Open the re control panel and remove the cover.
Step 2 Install the battery and cover in the re control panel.
Step 3 Connect battery cables to the
re control panel.
NO TE
To verify that the battery connection of the re control panel works properly, perform the
following steps:
1. Turn on the battery switch of the
re control panel and keep it running using the
battery power supply.
2. Turn o the battery switch of the re control panel.
