● When connecting batteries, ensure that the spring washer on the screw is
leveled, that the protruding part of the terminal on the cable faces outwards,
and that the cable is intact.
● Do not connect two or more cables to the positive or negative power port of a
battery in parallel.
● Stay away from the equipment when preparing cables to prevent cable scraps
from entering the equipment. Cable scraps may cause sparks and result in
personal injury and equipment damage.

The cable colors shown in the electrical connection diagrams provided in this section are for
reference only. Select cables in accordance with local cable specications. (Green-and-
yellow cables are only used for protective earthing.)
8.1 Preparing Cables

The cable diameter must comply with local cable standards. The factors that aect cable
selection include the rated current, cable type, routing mode, ambient temperature, and
maximum expected line loss.
