RAID support The RH2288 V3 supports the following models of RAID controller
cards:
l SR320 or SR420:
– Uses the LSI SAS2208 chip.
– Supports RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6, and 60.
– Supports a supercapacitor for power failure protection.
l SR120:
– Uses the LSI SAS2308 chip.
– Supports RAID 0, 1, 1E, and 10.
– Does not support power failure protection.
l SR130:
– Uses the LSI SAS3008 chip.
– Supports RAID 0, 1, 10, and 1E.
– Does not support power failure protection.
l SR430C:
– Uses the LSI SAS3108 chip.
– Supports RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6, and 60.
– Supports a cache of 1 GB or 2 GB.
– Supports a supercapacitor for power failure protection.
l SP435:
– Uses the PM8060 chip.
– Supports RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6, and 60.
– Supports a supercapacitor for power failure protection.
l SR135:
– Uses the PM8068 chip.
– Supports RAID 0, 1, 10, and 5.
– Does not support power failure protection.
These RAID controller cards support RAID level migration and drive
roaming.
NOTE
l The SP435 (PM8060) controller card is a standard PCIe card, which can be
installed in a PCIe slot.
