Shut down the inverter on the WebUI.
On the homepage, choose Monitoring > Control. Click Inv. OFF. In the displayed
dialog box, click OK to shut down the inverter, as shown in Figure 5-7.

Step 2 After the inverter shuts down, if the bypass is normal, the UPS transfers to bypass mode; if
the bypass is abnormal, the UPS supplies no power, and the loads shut down.
After you shut down the inverter, the Bypass mode alarm is displayed on the LCD.
Step 3 After the inverter shuts down, turn off the external output switch.
Step 4 Turn off the battery switch (if there are multiple battery strings, turn off the general switch
between battery strings and the UPS and then the switch for each battery string).
Step 5 Turn off the external mains and bypass input switches.

5.3 Starting the UPS in Battery Mode
Procedure
Step 1 Ensure that batteries have been connected properly. Use a multimeter to check that the
absolute voltages of positive and negative battery strings are greater than a certain value
(single battery voltage x number of batteries in the battery string).
