14 Edit the CONFIG.SYS file by performing the following procedure:
a. At the DOS prompt, type the following and press the Enter key.
CD\
b. At the DOS prompt, type the following and press the Enter key.
C: \DOS\E CONFIG.SYS
c. At the end of the file, add the following line:
DEVICE=C:\ENB5250\CSDD5250.SYS
d. Press F4 (File) to save and quit the editor.
15 Edit the STARTPCS.BAT file (in the PCS subdirectory) by performing the following the following:
a. At the DOS prompt, type the following and press the Enter key:
CD\PCS
b. At the DOS prompt, type the following and press the Enter key:
C:\DOS\E STARTPCS.BAT
c. Change the E5250AH (for model series 350, 360, 500, 510, 750 or 755) or WSEAH (for model
series 720) line to the following:
CALL LDMCAAHS
d. Press F4 (File) to save and quit the editor.
16 Edit the AUTOEXEC.BAT file by performing the following procedure:
a. At the DOS prompt, type the following and press the Enter key.
CD\
b. At the DOS prompt, type the following and press the Enter key:
C:\DOS\E AUTOEXEC . BAT
c. Change the the C: \PCS\STARTPCS or CALL C: \PCS\STARTPCS line to the following lines:
SET ENB5250=C:\ENB5250 (only if you have a 5250 emulation PCMCIA adapter)
CD\PCS
CALL STARTPCS
d. Ensure that the CALL STARTPCS (Client Access/400) line appears before the WIN (Windows) or
OOSSHELL (DOS shell) line.
Press F4 (File) to save and quit the editor.
