When the configuration completion display appears, press the Enter key.
Press
F3
(Exit) twice.
The Exit Box display appears.
To exit the configuration program, type
1.
25 Reboot the personal computer by performing the following:
• Press and hold the Alt and Ctrl keys, then press the
Del
key.
26 To start Windows, type
WIN
at the DOS prompt and press the Enter key (it may
be
started already).
27 Perform the following at the Client Access/400 Setup window:
a.
Select Group.
b.
Select RUMBA/400 or PC/5250.
Note: The files for RUMBA/400 or PC/5250 are transferred from the AS/400
to
the personal
computer.
c.
Choose any other items from the list that you may want.
d.
Press the Enter key or select
OK.
28 Configure Client Access/400 by performing the following:
a.
Double-click
on
the Client Access/400 group from the Program Manager.
b.
Double-click
on
the Configuration icon within the Client Access/400 group.
c.
Double-click
on
the Startup Options icon within the Client Access/400 Configuration program.
d.
Select the functions that you want to start automatically.
e.
If you want
an
5250 emulation display, make sure
to
select Automatically start emulation
and
the Select session (to assign a emulation profile). If there are
no
emulation profiles, you must
bring
up
the 5250 emulation program, save a profile, and then perform step 28 again.
f.
Close (exit) the Client Access/400 Configuration program.
29 Start the Windows Client Access/400 support. Perform the following procedure:
a.
Double-click
on
the Client Access/400 Support Startup group from the Client Access/400 group.
b.
Type the user
ID
and password (if required), then press the Enter key
to
sign
on
to the AS/400.
Note: If you want Microsoft Windows to start Client Access/400 every time Microsoft Windows
starts, perform the following steps:
• Copy the Client Access Support Startup icon from the Client Access/400 group to
the Startup icon
in
the Program Manager.
• Hold the Ctrl key and drag the icon from one group
to
the other.

If
you
are installing RUMBA/400, select RUMBA/400
on
the Client Access/400 Setup Panel (if
RUMBA/400
is
not installed
on
your 9401, it will not appear
on
the setup panel). This will transfer
the RUMBA/400 files to the personal computer. When this has completed, restart Windows.
