Purpose
Sets an individual node or the whole network to the "pre-
operational" state.

Description
NMM_SET_PREOPERATIONAL sets the specified node or the
whole network to the "pre-operational" state (also see section
6.7). After the initialization of one (or all) network node(s), it is
normally set to the "pre-operational" state. In this state the node
(or the nodes) can communicate with the NMT master
responsible for the network management only via the SDOs.

ENABLE BOOL TRUE: The function is processed.
FALSE: The function is not processed.
NODE BYTE All initialized nodes: 0
Initialized node: 1 ... 127
Name Data type Description
RESULT BYTE Result: 0 = successful
1 = transmission error
2 = invalid parameters
255 = NMT master not active
