• Water Sedimenter
Maintenance intervals:
Check Level: Daily
Drain the Water and
Sediment:
When the float floated
up to the bottom
of
the filter
in
the sedimenter.

Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces can cause a fire.
The water sedimenter
is
located
on
the rear
of
the engine.
1.
Stop the engine.
2.
Turn the fuel stop lever to the "closed" position.
3.
Loosen the ring nut

and remove the bowl

and the
filter
@
4.
Drain water and sediment into suitable container.
NOTE: Always dispose
of
drained fluids as established by local
regulations.
5.
Clean the inside surfaces
of
the body ® and bowl ~
6.
Clean the filter @
7.
Inspect the 0 ring ® on bowl Replace them if they are
worn or damaged.
8.
Install a filter @ to the body. Install a spring
G)
and float
® into the bowl. Install the bowl to the body. Tighten
ring nut

9.
Turn the fuel stop lever to the "opened" position.
10. Priming the system. There should be enough fuel
in
the
system to allow the engine to start.
Keep the engine start switch key at ON for a period
of
20 seconds. which operates the fuel pump and priming
automatically.
NOTE: Do not start the engine until all fuel system service is
completed.
