B.15 Loop limitations
Use suitably sectioned shielded twisted cable for the loop wiring. Connect the shield to earth using
terminal 3 or 6, connect it to one end of the loop only.
In order to allow the loop to function properly, you must section the device connection cable in such
way that any voltage drop along does not exceed 8 V. The following table shows the minimum wire
sections for the Loop wiring with regard the distance between the Loop-O terminals and the most
distant device:
B.16 Configuring APOLLO devices
Every APOLLO device requires an address to identify it on the loop. Apollo devices must be addressed
manually, as follows.
