7 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
7.1 Introduction
The BV50 has been designed to minimise any performance variation over time. Much
of this is achieved by careful hardware and software design. However, depending
upon the environment the BV50 may at some time require cleaning, belt changing or
note path clearing. CAUTION: Do not use solvent based cleaners such as
alcohol, petrol, methylated spirits, white spirit or pcb cleaner. This will
result in permanent damage to the bill acceptor, only use a mild
detergent.
