5. Bill Path Cleaning
Carefully wipe the surfaces with
a soft lint free cloth that has
been dampened with a water
and mild detergent solution (i.e.
household washing up liquid).
Remove any build up on the
rollers.
Do not use solvent based cleaners such
as alcohol, petrol, methylated spirits, white
spirit or PCB cleaner. This will result in
permanent damage to the BV50, only use
a mild detergent.
Dirt, dust or other residue causes bad
note acceptance rates and other
performance degradation. The
recommended cleaning interval is once a
month!
9.7 Re-initialisation of the sensors
1. Connect the unit and
power up in SSP mode
Connect the unit to a pc
with ITL Diagnostics and
power up the BV50. Make
sure it is in SSP mode or it
will not communicate with
the pc.
