TROUBLESHOOTING
iRaceWeigh BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
The following instructions should be initiated if problems are encountered when trying to
connect the mobile device with the iRaceWeigh app. If connection is achieved at any
time while going through the troubleshooting steps, stop the troubleshooting at that
step.
1. Open the iRaceWeigh More tab. Verify the App version is 2.0 or newer.
2. Open the Settings tab. Verify Bluetooth has been selected under the Connection
Mode.
3. Verify that there are no other mobile devices connected to the indicator. Only one
mobile device at a time can be connected to the indicator when using iRaceWeigh.
Cycle the indicator power to break any existing connection and allow a new mobile
device to be connected.
4. Enable Bluetooth on the indicator. Press the PRINT key and ZERO key
simultaneously. Press the 5 key to access the BLUETOOTH-APP Link menu. Press
the 1 key to enable a Bluetooth connection.
5. Program the Radio Settings. Programming the radio setting will also set the indicator
BT description and Pin/Key.
ATTENTION: It is important to know the scale radio settings before
proceeding with this step. If the settings are not known, there is a risk in
setting the indicator to a different radio setting than the scale. To restore
radio settings between the scale and indicator, refer to the Radio Settings
instructions as set forth in the SW RFX Series Scale Systems Service
Manual.
1) Press the Press the BACKLIGHT Key and ZERO key simultaneously. Press the
8 key to access the Radio settings.
2) If the radio settings currently reside in the indicator memory, press the ENTER
key to toggle through the radio settings.
3) Attempt to connect the mobile device with the indicator. Refer to the iRaceWeigh
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION section for instructions.
