1.3.2 Defaults
The screen shows panel defaults set during installation.
See “Initial start-up” on page 43 for details.
1.4 Change PIN
You can change your own PIN using the Change PIN menu.
The principles of PIN programming are described in “3.1.n.2.1 Change PIN” on
page 84.
1.5 Bypass panel lid
The Bypass panel lid option lets you connect a PC without initiating the panel
tamper alarm. The following menus allow setting the isolating timer and running
the connection process.
To connect a USB cable to the panel:
1. Ensure the “1.5.1 Panel lid time” value is enough for you to come to the
panel, open the housing, and connect the USB cable.
2. Bypass panel lid using menu “1.5.2 Restore lid” below.
3. Open the panel housing and connect the USB cable.
After logging to the panel from the PC, the box tamper is isolated
automatically and the box tamper timer is stopped.
1.5.1 Panel lid time
The Panel lid timer defines for how long the panel lid is bypassed.
1.5.2 Restore lid
Enter the Restore lid menu to bypass the panel lid. The panel lid tamper timer
starts timing.
If the panel lid is already bypassed, entering this menu unbypasses it.
