Why does my Intermec EasyCoder C4 Printer keep printing or feeding?
    • K
      Kiara BarnettAug 16, 2025
If the Intermec Printer keeps printing or feeding when it shouldn't, it might be due to a label caught on the label gap sensor. Open the top cover, remove the label, and clean the sensor using a cleaning card or isopropyl alcohol. Another possible cause is a firmware problem.

      Cory PearsonAug 18, 2025
If the Intermec Printer seems to be working but nothing is printed, and you are using Direct Thermal Printing, verify that the media is intended for direct thermal printing by testing if the paper is blackened by the heat from a hot object (+ 70°C/160°F or more). Check that the heat-sensitive side faces the printhead. If you are using Thermal Transfer Printing, verify that the printer is loaded with thermal transfer ribbon and that the ink-coated sided faces the receiving face material.

Why Intermec Printer's label taken sensor not holding printing?
    • K
      Kevin PerrySep 12, 2025
If the label taken sensor on the Intermec Printer does not hold printing until the label/tag has been removed, it may be due to the label/tag being bent down because of excessive length and/or too thin or soft media. It could also be that the label/tag is too short (less than 16 mm/.63 inches), or the label taken sensor or cable is defective.
