Hardware Installation
NOTE: Approved Ethernet coaxial cable is
marked with rings at 2.5-meter intervals
(minimum distance). Transceivers should be
placed at these rings to minimize transceiver
reflection, which can induce transmission
errors.
Tap into the Ethernet cable (instructions are included with each
transceiver) .
3. Connect the transceiver to the Ethernet cable.
4. Connect the female end of the drop cable to the transceiver.
