EN 14846:2008
3 = for use by people with a high incentive to
exercise care and with a small chance of
misuse, e.g. residential doors.
X = 200.000 test cycles - 120N load on latch
bolt.
Door Mass and closing force (1-9)
9 = above 200 kg door mass as specified by the
manufacturer – 15N maximum closing force.
Suitability on use on fire/smoke doors (0-F)
E = suitable for use on smoke and fire door
assemblies. With a classification time of 90 min
(EI 90).
0 = no safety requirements.
Corrosion resistance, temperature,
humidity (0-P)
P = no defined resistance.
Security and drill resistance (1-7)
7 = very high security with drill resistance.
Security - electrical function (0-1)
1 = status indication (audio or visual signal from
the lock that can be used as an indication that the
bolt is fully thrown and deadlocked).
Security - electrical manipulation (0-3)
3 = maximum resistance to all tests.
