Categories of power lines
Select from the flowing schedule of power cord specifications an appropriate
power cord that matches the voltage for the area in which you use the
instrument. If the power cord included in the instrument you purchased does
not match the voltage, contact the dealer or manufacturer for change.
Connecting the power cord
Before connecting the power cord, please ensure the power switch of the
instrument is turned OFF. Only use the power cord supplied as a standard
accessory. A summary of connection procedures is given below.
2.5 DUT Connection
This section introduces how to connect the Device under Test (DUT) to the
IT6400 series output terminal.
Pre-connection Notes
⚫ Please switch off the power output when connecting the output circuit in order
to avoid electric shock.
⚫ Ensure that the main power supply plug is accessed to the power socket with
protective grounding. Never use the wiring board without protective grounding.
Before circuit connection, be sure that the power supply is well grounded.
⚫ When measuring the cable insulating layer, ensure that the wires (bare wires)
connected to the output terminals are not exposed. At the same time, fix the
screws of output terminals and ensure that the connected cables will not fall off
from the output terminal.
⚫ Before change of connection, set the channel output as OFF. Otherwise, the
DUT may be damaged.
